Meet Danny & Ellen Mercer

Welcome to Bettie Creek Kennels. We are Danny and Ellen
Mercer and we breed Silver, Charcoal, Champagne, and Fox Red
Labrador Retrievers.
We have over twenty (20) years of experience in breeding and
working with labs. We decided to expand our program to include
the “dilute” colors because we have had the best silver boy for
over eight (8) years.
We live in eastern North Carolina on a creek adjacent to the
Pamlico River and Sound. Our dogs swim and retrieve daily,
weather permitting and honestly it is usually us that are not up to
the weather.
We health test all our dogs to insure the healthiest puppies. We
feed top quality Victor dog food, as well as fruit and vegetables.
We use supplements to ensure that our pregnant and nursing
moms get all the nutrition that they need.
We would love to help you find the perfect new family member
and are happy to have you visit and see our parent dogs as well
as our puppies.
